Growing up in the south in a town with a major university, college football is more than just a game. It is a way of life. Every Saturday from September to January I am glued to the television or attending a college football game. I grew up attending Florida State football games religiously. Over the past 25 years I have probably only missed 10 home games, with the majority of those being in the last few years.
FSU has been in the national championship game six times since I have been alive and I was present at every one except for the Nebraska as only was only a few years old.
- 1993 vs Nebraska (win)
- 1996 vs Florida (loss)
- 1998 vs Tennessee (loss)
- 1999 vs Virginia Tech (win)
- 2000 vs Oklahoma (loss)
- 2013 vs Auburn (win)
As a degenerate college football fan, recruiting is a major part of the success on the field. When high school kids come for official visits and commit or wait until National Signing Day to make their selection the message boards activity is off the charts.
When the opportunity came about to write for , I jumped on it! I will be following and reporting on the college football landscape and recruiting!
