Hello everyone,
Welcome to this 2nd Creative Writing Challenge pre-launch post.
In the first post of this nature, I've announced details on the Rules, the prize pool, what kind of tasks to expect and how to take part of the challenge.
Today, we'll see:
- who has already jumped in;
- announce the latest sponsors;
- shout out loud to other brave minds willing to plug in their creativeness and exercise their writing skills.

A list with current participants
Here's how the list with all the participants looks like. If you'd like to see yourself here, just let us know in the comments that you'd like to become one of the participants (read more on why should you join in one of the next paragraphs).
There are currently 11 of you which is a great start. Last time we've started with 15 participants. Some of them has dropped off before their first post or a bit after, 5 of them 'survived' until the very end.
New sponsors

What we are witnessing this time is 5 new sponsors from the very beginning.
~ Special thanks to the great 5: ~

If you are willing to become one if the next sponsors you should be aware that the 2nd Creative Writing Challenge will be full with action and drama and it will be attracting people willing to keep up with the tasks even though that they've missed the very beginning. By action and drama I mean challenging tasks that will excite and inspire the participants. Many of them aren't here for the SBD price, however in my opinion the SBD prize pool is still a very sweet add-on to further stimulate persistence and devotion. At the opposite side, I believe there will be a new wave of challengers who's writing talent will give them confidence that they could take that prize as a low hanging fruit without putting too much efforts. My goal will be to provide everyone with challenging writing tasks, no matter what their initial motivation is.
Why you should take part in this creative writing challenge?
To answer this questions, you could try coming up with an answer to other questions like:
Why wouldn't you want to sharpen your creative writing skills?
Why would you miss a great chance to become a better story teller?
Why would you skip an opportunity to exercise your creative muscle?
Here are my personal reasons to organize a challenge like this:
- I'd like to become a better story teller:
- I'd like to tell the exciting stories of extraordinary people living their remarkable life out of their comfort zone and challenging the status quo (there's a lot of them and they often don't care so much if society will recognize their great contributions. However I care and for me this is a great source of inspiration and energy not to give up in the middle of the road towards the goal.)
- Be able to create amazing stories based on simple ground like an old picture
- Tell my own story (probably not in the next 5 years, but still.. would be nice to be well prepared by then:))
If you feel that there's a writer deep inside you and this nature is looking forward to be out, then do not waste the time you are given anymore.
This creative writing challenge is a golden opportunity for boosting your inner creativity and leading you to a brand new, better version of yourself.
Are your ready to jump in this new challenge?

A deadline for new participants
NB! The standard procedure we follow for accepting new participants is asking them to submit a new comment under one of the pre-launch posts. However people who have missed that train will be still able to jump in the challenge by submitting an entry for the first task withing the deadline period which is 72h.
