One of the questions I tackle often is how to get good at editing.
The truth is, it takes practice. For instance, my friend Sam is really good at editing today, because she's put in 6,000 hours into the job so far, and working on that 10,000 hours for true mastery.
But one thing that can help is the use of a tool like Grammarly or ProWritingAid. I personally use the latter, because it's cheaper and better for authors of fiction. In fact, there's a great review out there that makes it plain what it does and how awesome it is. Check that out here: https://kindlepreneur.com/prowritingaid-review/
And that's my tip of the day. I'll come back with a few more in the near future. Cheers!
