Good afternoon!
Gratitude. Such a beautiful act most people take for granted. We often just take and take and when we got what we want, we forget to say thanks. It's difficult to be grateful when we focus on what we don't have. I, myself, am guilty of forgetting to say thanks. I just got aware of it and became intentional on being grateful when I began digging more about life in 2018. I downloaded an app where you write what you are grateful for everyday. It lasted for a weeks and I've forgotten about writing on the app. >.<
As what Jason Mraz mentioned before, we should develop a "gratitude attitude." Be thankful for life, be thankful for everything you have, be thankful for things that didn't work out because it will lead you to your destined path. If you have time, listen to Jason Mraz's songs because it's filled with positive vibes!
Finally, I am back again to resume the blogging challenge initiated by . Thank you tegoshei for the blogging challenge! Here's the list of the complete challenge. Let's Do A 30-Day Blogging Challenge!!!
THANK YOU FOR...
HEALTH
In the midst of the pandemic everyone is going through right now, having a strong immune system and healthy mind is the best thing you can have. I am thankful that after six months since the world has been struck by the virus, none in my family have yet contracted the virus. If you are healthy today, you have more than to be thankful for. I may have been suffering with my allergy right now but it's not that worse compared to the previous times I had it.
I don't have any physical illness/es either, maybe just a few mental illnesses ones like social anxiety 😅😆, but overall I have a good health and I am very grateful for it. I still do have a clear eyesight too (25-25) compared to most of my peers who have now eyesight problems and are needed to wear glasses. I am thankful to have resilient eyes despite abusing them everyday by staring into my gadgets for several hours.
TALENT
They say talents are God-given, and so I thank God for bestowing me the talent of creativity. Without it, my life will probably be very boring. Hehe. Through being creative, I was able to express myself, made people happy, and made some friends too. :)
FAILURES
A bit unusual, but I am thankful for all my failures. Failures and misfortunes, even though it makes me miserable sometimes 😆, taught me lessons and will serve as a guide for me to become a better person and have better decisions in the future. Failing also teaches me to be humble and that is very important for me. And of course, I am grateful for all my failures because it makes the feeling of success very sweet!
There are lots of things to be grateful for. What are you grateful for?
Thanks for reading!
I will have to end this post by sharing a song by Jason Mraz called "GRATITUDE" from his latest album "Look For The Good".
