If you wanna become big on steemit, or get good at writing anything, you have to learn how to write properly. Writing is a skill that can be learned and polished overtime and like all skills, the more you practive, the better you become.
1: Understand your audience.
The most important step. You have to know what kind of people will be reading your content and write accordingly. There is no use in writing something that you know your readers will ignore.
2: Start with a topic and working title.
To write something, you'll need a topic obviously. Get a topic and a working title that based on your audience.
3: Write an intro (and make it captivating).
At the beginning of the post, write a good intro to let readers get an idea of what they'll be reading.
4: Organize your content.
Think of the content you'll be writing about and organize it in the form of points. Then arrange them in order of importance and relevance.
5: Write!
Now expand each point into sentences or paragraphs, depending on the article.
6: Edit/proofread your post, and fix your formatting.
You'd be surprised at how many mistakes we make while writing. Whenever I write something I can often improve many things by just reading it once and improving the sentences and wording.
7: Pick a catchy title.
This is a very important step as well, the title is what will attract readers to open your post and start reading. Give this some thought and make it as catchy and attractive as possible while remaining true to the content.
