Notice that those instructions did not include a steering mechanism. They did not include a sail or any other means of propulsion. No , God wanted Noah to go by faith. God wanted Noah to trust that God alone would see him through the flood. The waters rose and the ark floated around as God had steered it. Noah did not even think of trying to steer its direction or make any changes to how fast it went or where it landed. Noah trusted God alone to decide those things. Noah had true faith.
