This cat i saw on the sidewalk was perplexed.
Cat inquired,
"Meowrrrrrr, how did chu reached 50 reputation you tall geeky guy you... purrrssssss.... :"3"
I replied,
" Well, i just love to share my enjoyment in life mostly about food, places to go to, photography with my flimsy camera phone, random musings about life... u"
Cat followed up,
"Is that sufficient? Just creating content and posting photos? puurrrrrssss... :"3"
I said,
It ain't sufficient, YOU JUST HAVE TO BE EXTRA FRIENDLY..." ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
PATIENCE IS THE KEY
I'm almost a month old now here in #Steemit. It's been a crazy fun roller coaster ride. The first 2 weeks was a bumpy ride, you really got to HODL. Nothing in this world is instant, especially in this platform. You have to generate traffic on your page, which means you have to gain some friends (better term than followers.. xD) . Not unless you have a generous whale backing you up, you have A LOT OF WORK TO DO & BE PATIENT.
Here is a what-to-do list for the new and upcoming Steemians:
- Pray first, in whatever you do, pray and ask the Lord for guidance.
- Breathing exercises, to calm your mind and be focused.
- Eat something before doing work. Empty stomach, empty mind yo. ;)
- Think, feel, understand. Ask yourself what interests you so much, what are you inclined to do, what do you enjoy the most.
- Ready your pen & paper, or should i say, your computer or your android phone ready.
- Draft your content as soon as the ideas flow out.
Capture it while it's fresh, put it into words. - Don't mind about the grammar or the form at first. You can do that later.
- Put some photographs, much better if people can see the real you on your posts.
It's a big plus. - After extracting every drop of your thoughts, PROOFREAD.
- Put in a catchy yet appropriate title.
- Use a fitting tag. DO MAXIMIZE THE 5 TAGS IF POSSIBLE.
- CLICK THE POST BUTTON. (•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑
