⛵ ⛵ ⛵ ⛵...(Tour of "High Island")...Continued...
[Last time...]
“Hahaa, it's been tay long, whew! Turning this capstan is harder than I remember!” Able Seaman Tamaralovelace said with a laugh as she helped Able Seamen Pocketechange and Kamilla19 finish lowering the anchor.
“You’ve lost a little ‘mojo’ on your shore leave mate! Haha!” Pocketechange responded.
As the anchor found mud beneath the river Niagara below, the mighty Frigate Silverton jerked and lurched to starboard before straightening itself on the heavy chain. It was then that everyone heard the deep voice of the Captain ring-out…
"Tar Hail!"

[In the river Niagara…]
The water was icy cold as Lieutenant Bleujay dove through its current and rose up for air in the center of the river. It was a pleasant surprise for her to see the Frigate Silverton at anchor just two hundred yards north in the center of the river. But there would be no time for celebration as the sound of Big Bear diving into the river just behind her caught her ear as she stroked hard in a northward direction!
Swimming seemed almost effortless as the swift current also was flowing north but she dared not ease up, for even now she could hear the heavy strokes of the warrior Big Bear gaining on her!
[On the Silverton…crow’s nest…]
Able Seaman Pocketechange eyed the entire Seneca village for signs of danger when he heard the faint splash from upstream. Shielding his eyes from the morning sun, he strained to see what could be the cause…
‘I’m happiest being up in the Crow’s Nest…’ °°°°° He thought to himself as he scanned the river’s distant surface with keen eyes.
Then he caught the movement! Something…no two things were moving in the center river far upstream! Swimmers!
“Blimey!” He said to himself in great excitement as he slid open his longscope and focused it on the figures.
“Two swimmers!” He mumbled to himself and then the stark realization hit him, “Bleujay! I think it’s Bleujay!”
But his elation was short-lived as he clearly saw the Seneca warrior swimming close behind in hot pursuit! Jumping to his feet, he called out the alarm…
“Swimmers in the water!”
”Wussatt?!” The Captain called back quickly.
”Swimmers in the water! Two hundred yards south! I think it’s the Lieutenant, being pursued by a Seneca warrior!”
“Bludy Nora!” The Captain barked as he headed for the bridge stairs...
”Commanders Galligan an’ Errisl- gits me a musket up oan th’ forecastle noo!”
“Aye Sairrr!” ”Aye, aye!”
The main deck was already crowded as the Captain had just called for all hands-on deck, but everyone cleared out of the way when they saw the Captain running hard for the forecastle!
