LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
The night our path crossed,
When your silence communed with me in whisper,
Reached farther to my inner thought.
We did not know each other, yet you gave me a captivating smile
Never talked, yet you made me laugh
Though ours was love at first sight,
Never realized you had a dagger close to my heart.
More like fire on mountains,
My emotion, you set ablaze
Tossed me away to the wind,
But with time I will heal.
Now I remember you vividly,
The girl from my dream,
Deserted me like smoke escaping a burning incense,
Then vanish like vapours into thin air.
