With the recent release of WWE 2K17 just like it's predecessors of 2K games it has brought back the big downloadable or cover star and this time it's one of the most anticipated returns in recent memory, Goldberg who's set to be in a pretty big match against one of WWE's biggest stars, The Beast, The Conqueror, The 1 behind 21-1, Brock Lesnar at the 30th annual WWE Survivor Series event exclusive on the WWE Network.
Now with the return of Goldberg people have been speculating and wondering should Goldberg be the one to be Brock Lesnar and I'm here to say no he should not. Brock Lesnar has been one of the most protected superstars and unbeatable superstars in recent memory and while his matches are nothing to go home and brag about the character of Brock Lesnar would be better suited to put over a younger star than someone who's in their 50's and presumably on their way out after one or two matches in WWE.
Imagine what a win over Brock Lesnar would do for a Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens or any other superstar currently on the roster. Having Goldberg beat Lesnar does a lot for the company short-term in terms of buzz but after Goldberg leaves and is put in the hall of fame what good does it do? None. Long term success and money making should be WWE's biggest concern right now. It's good to bring back older guys only if they are here to help advance a person and get them over. But when you have older guys decimating and dominating them it does nothing for anybody at the end of the day.
Regardless of how the match goes between Lesnar and Goldberg. I truly believe Goldberg must lose to Brock Lesnar to make him even more of a big heel for a future star of WWE to defeat him. Why would you waste a 3 year unbeaten streak to Goldberg? It just doesn't make any sense. Let a Balor, Owens or Rollins heck even a Roman Reigns (HEEL ROMAN) beat him. Those are my thoughts on this "Fantasy Warfare" match between Lesnar and Goldberg.
