INGREDIENTS
- 2 Tubers of medium size water yam
- 5 Tablespoons of Palm oil
- 12 tablespoons of red bell pepper, chopped onions and tomatoes (blended)
- 2 cubes of maggi season (Optional)
- Salt (to taste)
- Shredded Smoke fish (Any kind) cleaned
- Shredded meat/chicken/pork/gizzard (Any kind)
- 1Tablespoon of Crayfish
- 1 Tablespoon of locust beans
- 1 full cup of water
DIRECTIONs
- peel the tubers of water yam and grate. After which add a pinch of salt into the grated water yam and stir to soften the grated water yam.
- Add palm oil into a large pot, set on medium heat cover and bleach for 2-3minutes
- Add in chopped onions, blended pepper and water and allow to cook for 10 minutes
- Add locust beans, maggi, salt to taste, and cray fish
- make balls out of the grated water yam into the large pot and add shredded fish or meat in layers by layers
- Allow to cook for another 10 minutes
- Stirr afterwards and allow to simmer for 5 minutes
- ready to eat.
