I have to say I am impressed with this team's performance this year. They are missing their two best players in Stanton and Judge and yet still in first place by a good margin.
They need to get Severino back if they want to win at all in the playoffs but I must say Aaron Boone has done a good job managing the depth of the roster.
I have to give props to the GM Brian Cashman as well for adding such good depth to the 25 man roster. Most position players on the team could start for many teams in MLB today. How they developed Luke Voit into a standout player he is today I have no idea. He was a scrub when he was on the Cardinals.
