Sunny day, finally😁
So we got some sunshine in the yard. The furry kid has his fun times. He even ran toward the street, and I had to go after him or he would go to the neighbors. From then on, I followed wherever he moved. The umbrella was a must to shield us from the scorching heat. It was 10 am, and the sun was quite unforgiving. It burns.
Some tomato seedlings (right pic below) have sprouted on the pile of gravel. And the plant that I thought was a Makahiya before has grown a bit more. I realized it's a different species, as the leaves didn't close when I touched them. Curious, I sought GL's help, and it identified it as a family of the Acacia tree. I couldn't confirm it, though.
The hubby thinks we should pull it out and transplant it elsewhere before it grows bigger, or it will be destroyed when the gravel is bulldozed for the driveway.
Anyway, Yongi made the most of his time outside, running here and there, sniffing various stuff, even the pumpkin plant, and when he got tired, he sought shade beside the pile of crates that the neighbor across the river left in our care last week.
At least he knew his limits, lol! Sometimes he overdoes it to the point that he has to catch his breath. This time, he was rather cool. No panting, no tongue out. He looked as though he was just chillin'.
Unfortunately, his outdoor time ended sooner because it was just too hot. He had his bath. He complained a lot while having his feet brushed. I think he is ticklish, lol! Lunch ensued afterward, and he is now on his afternoon siesta. He will probably snooze until late afternoon, unless he smells a dog or hoomans nearby, and would go ballistic.
And so before he does, I'll take a quick nap too😅
