The idea that COVID19 (SARS-CoV-2) is evolved from the RaTG13 virus is based on a paper released on 3 Feb 2020 in Nature, written by Dr Shi ZhengLi.
Dr Shi is a member of Wuhan Institute of Virology and a fellowship in American Academy of Microbiology.
Dr Yan is a ophthalmologist and virologist, who worked as a post doctoral researcher in Hongkong University.
The theory of creation of viruses is against the mainstream, as it leads to a situation in which the creator of it has to take responsibility for the creation of the it, the establishment and fellow scientists are reluctant to review and vouch for such theories.
The mainstream is attacking Dr Yan, as they do not want to be responsible for this chimera like product.
Dr Yan presented evidence that the RaTG13 provided to GenBank (a global public sequence database that accumulates and provides sequencing data serviced by the National Center for Biological Engineering Information) was submitted by fabricated fake records and insisted that the irregularities and fraud prevalent throughout the scientific community should be stopped.
With almost all mainstream scientists arguing for the natural evolution of the virus, is it a coincidence that on October 8 this year the Nobel Prize in Chemistry went to scientists who developed the genome gene editing method CRISPR-Cas9?
