Right after a shooting in Hollywood on Tuesday evening left a rapper named Young Dolph in crucial condition, investigators detained one man and are ongoing to search for two people probably involved in the shooting, according to Los Angeles Police Division officials.
The Memphis rapper, known as Young Dolph, 32, was shot in an altercation with 3 men outside Loews Hollywood hotel, near the 4 way stop of Hollywood Blvd and Highland Avenue, Los Angeles police Det. Meghan Aguilar said.
Police had originally reported that a gold Cadillac Escalade was observed running the scene, but the car was later found discontinued at a nearby gas place. One person had been arrested after the shooting and police were still searching for at least two other suspects Tuesday night, professionals said.
He injured rapper was transferred to medical care and had to go through surgery and was in critical situation, LAPD Detective Meghan Aguilar said.
Dolph was shot following getting into an "argument" with three other people external the Loews Hollywood Hotel soon after 1 p.m., Aguilar said.
This isn’t the very first time Dolph has had a brush with loss of life this year. Back in February, Dolph was in a SUV that was shot at over 100 periods but the rapper arrived out of the ordeal unaffected.
