I am pretty picky when it comes to tv. More often than not, I would get into a series and then the spark dies down after 2 seasons, a couple of examples would be Outlander and Frontier. Two might fine specimens of sexy men, especially the Scot...Ahem...Sorry.
I can't remember what I was going to say... moving on!
Only a few series stuck with me over time but then looking back today, I have lost interest. I used to like Futurama, I even had bought a few season packs but now, meh, I just gave them all away.
So what interests me now? Not much. I've been too occupied to stick with a series. I fall asleep, or I just do something else. In other words, 75% of the time, watching tv feels like old news. Like putting on an old pair of shoes with a hole at the heal and big toe. Meh.
But there have been some good ones when it used to interest me and those I can share _
The 100
I got attached to the series for the fact that its civilization starting over again. Don't count me in as the sky people. Im on ground, part of the tribe and ready to protect weapons in hand. Besides, the sexiest ones are the grounders.
So basically the wold sort of died and people were sent to space. Their ship that they lived in for years is now running out of supplies and they have to send people to the ground, so they choose to use the criminals to see if Earth is survivable. But these people are young and full of party and vengeful spirits.
Thinking they are the only ones there, they try to make their own rules. Huge surprise awaits them when they start dying.
Avatar The Last Airbender
I was trying to stay away from this one has it has made my list in 2 other contests, but its one that I definitely can't go without. It's my go to when I'm down, when my life feels upside down and my spirit seems washed away.
So a 12 year old monk air bender is set out to learn about the elements; water, earth, and fire. He is the link between he real world and the spirit world and carries the wisdom of all the previous Avatars before him. His purpose is to keep balance in the world.
During his time, the Fire Nation has begun a war, to wipe out all people and become one nation under the Fire lords command. So the Avatar and his crew that he finds along the way train and fight in order to stop this horrible world.
That part of the story being told, there is so much to learn from the series itself including spiritual sights, compassion, humor, and much needed life lessons that the young and old can learn from. Definitely a show for all ages.
Ink Master
Not sure if this is a box set, but lets pretend it is.
I consider myself to be a creative person and with that I really like tattoos. In all boredom and wanting to learn about something that I have some passion about, why not watch it?
Ink Master is a reality TV competition where every season they have contestants tattoo people to prove who is the best. I really don't care who hold the Ink Master title, I just want to see the tattoos and what people can come up with. I want to see the creativity and different styles the artists have. I could care less about the drama that follows but hey it's like seeing those Ink magazines come to life...In some ways.
Man, if you were to paint a picture of me according to my nominations, I would be a pretty bad ass, tattooed, spiritual chick! 😉
