This officially proves that YouTube has lost their minds and they're off their rocker. Who do they think laid the community foundation and paved the golden road of success for them?! What a bunch of idiots.

Transparency

I received the email but upon closer look at my YouTube account, am very close to their (current) criteria for making money. But I refuse to play their game. I'm not going to continue to support and participate in a system that singles out and excludes content based upon their metrics or (within reason) subject.

What I Will Do

Effective immediately:

• All promotion of YouTube from me will stop.
• As much as I am able, I will not view any videos on YouTube.
• I will take down all my videos from my channel -- except those that support Steemit or bash YouTube.
• I will publish my video library to Dtube and to the STEEM blockchain.
• Any new content will be posted to Dtube
