Apologies for my absence, my long distance partner is visiting and personally I am a strong advocate of real life taking priority in things, including spending time with my partner who I get barely any time with, than that's what I'll do.
Some time ago my friend requested some Pearl (Steven Universe) art. This wasn't long after the Steven Bomb where Blue Agate was revealed, and because of that I originally wanted to do sunglasses. However, but this looked cuter and fit MUCH better with the theme I ended up going with.
I went with a rosy pink to fit Pearls colours and alliances, It fits well with her skin and hair tone, and creates a soft hue that's easy on the eyes. I added some bubbles in the background to fill the empty space and also represent the bubbles Steven, Rose and the other gems often create.
