It was all a big mistake on the part of YouTube?
YouTube finally responded after days of crypto related content being removed from the platform...
And it was a very interesting response.
It almost sounds like it was some sort of mistake on their part, or at least that is what they are claiming:

This is not the only response like this being seen by crypto YouTubers.
As I type, crypto-related content is being re-enabled on YouTube after days of unilateral deletions and non-communication from the video giant.
As far as I know, this was the first official response from YouTube to anyone.
I don't buy it...
You are telling me that the 2nd biggest social media platform in the world "accidentally" started removing crypto related videos, which caused a massive uproar all over the interwebz, and then took close to a week to remedy it?!
I don't think so.
I think this was YouTube realizing this was going to be a very big deal and decided they better not go through with this for fear of alienating and losing large amounts of their users and audience.
They may restore the videos, but they can't restore the trust.

It's too late YouTube, even the users that stay will start also posting their content elsewhere on decentralized platforms.
Steem is ready and waiting.
In a few years we will look back on this moment as the start of an irreversible trend.
A trend away from centralized giants and towards a more decentralized future.
Thank you for kicking things off YouTube, we sincerely appreciate it!
Stay informed my friends.
