YouTube is ruining itself again

So I was going to put on my youtube music playlist when I realised the video was all screwed up and the top and bottom were missing. I then went out of cinema view to standard view and then I realise what the problem is; YouTubes new update on getting rid of black bars has decided to crop the video itself. I looked in the source code and the video now, instead of a standard aspect ratio, is this mess That image is a cropped, not resized, screenshot from "print screen". According to the source code, it is an aspect ratio of 2.54:1 which is not a standard ANYWHERE and ruins what was a perfectly good video.
