Hi, everyone.
Today I'm presenting the next interviews that I made for my Modern Adulthood project. One of my amazing guests was also Lisa Bunnage. Lisa grew up in a family with a calm and confident parenting model where her parents never spoke down to her. Therefore she strongly believes being a calm leader to your children is everything.
Lisa Bunnage is a Parenting Coach at BratBusters Parenting Services. She has been helping families navigate through everything from potty training to teen crises. She teaching leadership parenting using a mix of discipline and fun. Her focus is on teaching parenting how to give and get respect right through the teen years.
Here are some highlights of our interview:
What is “as soon as” method
Why children are wonderful teachers
Not speaking down to your children and make your children feel good about themselves
New age parenting and why not
The day that Lisa decided to change the way of parenting
Advice to young adults
I love Lisa’s parent coaching approach and one of my favorite takeaways was:”Teaching kids how to be self-disciplined and responsible at a very young age.”
What was your biggest takeaway? Listen to the interview and reply to this email, I would love to know.
Talk to you soon.
Much love,
SR*
