Hey Steemians!
Week 42 of #zencolouringcontest starts now!
Each week I will provide a stencil to be coloured in with no restrictions on the medium used, with a chance to win 45% of this posts payout and the weeks' donations for 1st place.
To add a little twist and interaction within the community, there will be a featured colour each week, picked at random from entrant's choices. This colour must be used in some way in your interpretation (use as little or as much of the featured colour as you like).
The featured colour this week is Brown
Below is a screen capture of the random picker's selection:

Load the stencil image into your favourite art software on your phone, tablet or PC. Or print it out and use traditional forms of colouring! The image is sized to A4 paper for ease of printing.
Below is an example of the stencil fully coloured to give you all some inspiration. This was coloured by my amazing Girlfriend ! She loves steampunk things and gave me the idea to create this weeks stencil based on that theme! She coloured the design in Krita and used a background of a rust texture to fit the theme. Please check out her post by clicking the image and give her some love for her amazing support!

Also, here is a link to the post I made for the video process of this weeks design, in case you missed it:

This week the inspiration from the design came from Steampunk machinery, this idea was given to me by my Girlfriend. The cogs and pipes work really well for a mandala design so is perfect for a stencil for this contest. I often get asked whether I find these stencils or draw them myself, the answer is I always draw them myself, mostly without any reference. But perhaps, if you use your imagination, the designs could come from a fantastic and complex machine such as this weeks stencil, maybe it's what my brain looks like on the inside 😂. All of those cogs turning and endlessly generating ideas for creativity, a very fitting theme for the stencil if i must say!
I know i said I would make this weeks design less complex, but i kind of got carried away, you could say it has less intricate parts but still retains complexity! I hope you all enjoy adding colour to this one!
Have fun, but most importantly have a relaxing zen-colouring sesh!
