Don't be a phone zombie!
Since the invention of the smartphone people have begun to completely change the way that we interact with the world that surrounds us. It used to be that you only saw a couple people here and there with their phones out, but then it started increasing day after day. At some point I was too, I didn't seem to get it, until the day my phone broke. The firsts couple of days I was antsy, not knowing what to do. After a while it all hit me, I wasn't entertaining myself, I was alienating myself from the rest of the world. One time I sat down with these group of people at a bar, I didn't know them so I mostly kept a tight lip. I noticed these two people, some guy in a button shirt with gelled up hair and this dime piece. I seriously though they were boyfriend and girlfriend or at least on a date. The thing that got me mad is that they both could not get off their phones, constantly messaging who knows who? I feel like i'm that old school kind of guy that likes full attention because I give full attention, if you think that's special treatment then i'm sorry. At the end of the night they still seemed to want to hook up with each other because it seemed that they barely exchanged a few words. I think not having a phone to needlessly chat with people was a blessing in disguise. What do I want you to get from this post? I guess it's sometimes better to get away from technology and enjoy life.
