Tumeric Noodle
Ramen
I have a noodle producer in my BNI chapter - Jade Noodles. I wrote about them before some time ago. This post is about me trying out their noodles. I experimented with their custom made tumeric noodle and ramen.
#1 - The tumeric noodle was not easy for me to match with ingredients I have in my fridge. And being the #lazymom that I am, I used leftover old cucumber soup, sliced some Bentong ginger, plucked a handful of Brazilian spinach from my edible garden and an egg.
#2 - made cold ramen seasoned with sesame oil and light soy sauce, on a bed of butterhead lettuce, topped with avocado, sprinkled with almond flakes and pepper.
The noodles are of superb quality. Minus the preservatives. Unfortunately I won't get them all the time because these are custom made noodles and they were samples courtesy of Vshly & and Jeff Ng owners of Jade Noodles.
Jade Noodles do have the regular wheat based noodles like yellow mee, hokkien mee, wan tan mee. They also have carrot, spinach and pumpkin. They mainly make for noodle shops within Kepong. If you want to try their noodles, PM Jade Noodles at their Facebook Page and make sure you say my name 😉. Minimum order is 2kg, cash on collect.
