Hola que tal amigos. Les quería contar que recientemente estuvimos celebrando el cumpleaños número 53 de mi mamá con una hermosa y mojada fiesta (risas), si es que como cosa rara llovió ese día. Todos los años es lo mismo con este clima sino llueve a cántaros hace un terrible calor.

Hello friends. I wanted to tell you that recently we were celebrating my mom's 53rd birthday with a beautiful and wet party (laughs), it rained that day. Every year it's the same thing with this weather, if it doesn't pour rain it's terribly hot.

Yo como mamá sé lo emocionante que resulta celebrarle la vida a los hijos, y justo esa mismo sentimiento lo tengo con mis padres o con cualquier evento importante para mi. Cumplir años es algo que pareciera ser una cosa sencilla, pero cuantas personas no se quedaron en el camino y no lograron vivir 365 días, es por ello que jamás dejo pasar estos momentos por alto. #

As a mom I know how exciting it is to celebrate life with my children, and I have the same feeling with my parents or with any important event for me. Having a birthday is something that seems to be a simple thing, but how many people didn't fall by the wayside and didn't get to live 365 days, that's why I never let these moments pass me by.

Mi madre desde hace mucho tiempo quiso tener una hermosa celebración la cual contara con la presencia de sus familiares más queridos y amigos más preciados, por dificultades de la vida y por cuestiones económicas esto no había podido suceder, sin embargo siempre cada año nunca le falta su torta con sus velitas.

For a long time my mother wanted to have a beautiful celebration with the presence of her dearest relatives and friends, but due to life's difficulties and economic issues this had not been able to happen, however, every year she never misses her cake and candles.

Este año gracias a dios pudimos organizar en una semana una bonita celebración, que tuvo decoración, globos, torta y hasta música en vivo. Mi mamá y yo nos levantamos muy temprano para iniciar los preparativos, adelantamos pasapalos recogimos la casa y después empezamos a decorar.

This year, thank God we were able to organize a beautiful celebration in one week, with decorations, balloons, cake and even live music. My mom and I woke up very early to start the preparations, we made some snacks, picked up the house and then we started decorating.

Mas tarde tomamos una siesta y después nos pusimos lindas para recibir a los invitados a las 5:00pm que era la cita, sin embargo la lluvia hizo que familiares y amigos llegaran a las 9:00pm una vez que cesó. Mi hermosa madre aprovechó de tomare fotos con todos, conversar con quienes no había y después se puso a bailar.

Later we took a nap and then we got ready to receive the guests at 5:00pm which was the appointment, however the rain made family and friends arrive at 9:00pm once it stopped. My beautiful mother took the opportunity to take pictures with everyone, chat with those who were not there and then started dancing

Mientras tanto mi padre finiquitaba la organización de los instrumentos que usarían los músicos en el reducido espacio que teníamos y por suerte todo cupo perfecto. Fue una maravillosa fiesta que se extendió hasta las 3:00am de la mañana en la que bailamos hasta el cansancio, nos reímos hasta que nos dolieron los cachetes y disfrutamos como sino hubiese un mañana. Doy gracias a dios por permitirme vivir este momento especial junto a mi hermosa madre.

Meanwhile my father was finalizing the organization of the instruments that the musicians would use in the limited space we had and luckily everything fit perfectly. It was a wonderful party that lasted until 3:00am in the morning where we danced until we were tired, laughed until our cheeks hurt and enjoyed like there was no tomorrow. I thank God for allowing me to live this special moment with my beautiful mother.
