つい最近，投資を始めたので研究の合間にそれについての勉強をしています．
(投資をしようと思った経緯や具体的な取り組みについてはまた後日ということで...)
まだ始めて一ヶ月足らずですが，投資を始めて良かったなと思うことがありました．

それは投資により日々の自分の行動を見直すきっかけになったことです．

投資は将来の利益のために資本を支出することですが，これはお金に限ったことじゃありません．
将来のリターンを見据えた行動と考えれば，健康な体づくりやあらゆるノウハウを身につけるための勉強も投資です．いわゆる自己投資というものですね．"時は金なり"をより意識するようになったとも言えます．

私が研究室から家に帰る時間はいつも夜遅く，終電で帰ることもあります．
これは研究が忙しいから？　　

いいえ，違います．

簡単に言うと研究室で無駄な時間を過ごしすぎているんです．

私が所属する研究室はいわばコアタイムというものはなく，やると言ったこと，やらなければいけないことをこなしていれば特にお咎めはありません．柔軟性が高いスケジュールを組めるのでストレスフリーです．

だからこそ無駄な時間は生まれてしまいます．最低限のノルマを終えて満足してしまう日が多いんです．それもかなりハードルが低いノルマを．

そして研究室での無駄な時間が
・もっとできる研究も進まず
・好きな勉強もできず
・帰宅が遅くなるため余分な間食が増え
・不規則で不健康な生活になる

と生産性が下がり，さらなる悪循環を引き起こしていることに気づきました．

日々の行動選択は有限であり，その中でやりたいこと，やらなきゃいけないことをうまくこなしていく必要があります．今の私にとってやらなくてはいけないことは学業，やりたいことは投資の勉強はもちろん人付き合いや趣味も含まれます.

学生の私には投資をする十分な資本を稼ぐことはできません．でも将来，より賢い行動選択をして，仕事で高いパフォーマンスを出すための準備ならいくらでもできるはずです．

社会人になれば，時間の制約はより大きなものとなります．限られた時間の中で高いパフォーマンスをアウトプットし，かつ自分の時間もしっかり取るためには時間が空くのを待つのではなく，時間を作りに行かないといけません．

学生の分際で忙しいからと自分を後回しにしていたら，社会人になっても仕事を言い訳にするダサい大人になってしまいそうです．
そんな大人にならないためにも，まずは今の自分を顧みる必要がありそうです．というわけでセルフマネジメントに関する勉強と実践も考えている今日この頃です．
自戒も込めてここに記しておきたいと思いポストしました． (英語verは後で...)

The time I go home from the laboratory is always late at night, sometimes I return on the last train.

To put it briefly, I spend wasted time in the laboratory.

The laboratory to which I belong does not have a core time, so to speak, there is nothing to blame especially if you do what you said to do and what you have to do. It is stress-free because you can organize a highly flexible schedule.

That is why wasted time is born. There are many days that I am satisfied after finishing the minimum quota. That quite a hurdle low quota.

And unnecessary time in the laboratory cause
· I can not do more research
· I can not do my favorite study
· Extra snacking increases as home goes late
· Become an irregular and unhealthy life

I realized that productivity declined, causing a more vicious circle.

Daily action choices are limited, and we need to do things that we want to do, and what we have to do well in it. What I have to do for me now is academic, what I want to do is not only studying investment but also personal relationships and hobbies and so on.

I can not earn enough capital to invest in my students. But a preparation that I can do more wise choice of behavior and work high performance is very useful in the future.

The time-constraint becomes bigger if I work in a company. In order to output high performances in a limited time and to take my time well, we have to make time, not to wait for time.

If I was keeping myself behind because I was busy with a student's perspective, it seems that I will become a disgusting adult who makes my work excuse even if I become a social worker.
In order not to become such an adult, it seems that it is necessary to first look at the current self. That's why I am thinking about studying and practicing self-management this time around this time.
