Mi nombre es Guimairy, tengo 27 años, vivo en Mérida – Venezuela, Una ciudad maravillosa con gente amable y educada y a mi parecer, con el mejor clima de Venezuela. Actualmente estoy estudiando Medicina, cosa que siempre quise desde pequeña. Mi nombre es una combinación de Guillermo y María, mis padres. Mis dos grandes amores, en donde cada vez que lo escucho o escribo, se que llevo un pedacito de ellos.

I am currently studying medicine, something I always wanted since I was a little girl. My name is a combination of Guillermo and Maria, my parents. My two great loves, where every time I hear or write, I know that I carry a little piece of them.

Me considero una persona alegre, siempre tratando de ver las cosas positivas de la vida, agradeciendo lo mucho que Dios ha sido bueno conmigo y los míos. Me gusta mucho la vida al aire libre, caminar por las hermosas montañas que tiene mi ciudad. Me gusta nadar, dormir, leer. Aficionada a las series y películas. Me encanta la playa y los viajes con amigas. Amo a los animales, especialmente los perros, porque no hay amor más sincero y desinteresado que el de ellos. De hecho tengo dos perritas que son mi vida. Perla de 7 años y su bebe Gema que cumplirá 1 año este mes.

I consider myself a cheerful person, always trying to see the positive things in life, being thankful for how much God has been good to me and mine. I love the outdoors, walking through the beautiful mountains that my city has. I like swimming, sleeping and reading. I am fond of series and movies. I love the beach and trips with friends. I love animals, especially dogs, because there is no more sincere and selfless love than theirs. In fact I have two little dogs that are my life. Perla is 7 years old and her baby Gema will be 1 year old this month.

Estoy culminando el 5to año de medicina en la Universidad de Los Andes. Donde este último año de pasantías, he compartido con personas grandiosas, de aquellas que solo te dejan cosas buenas. Además de las enseñanzas académicas, las personales han sido enormes. Mi Corazón se rompe a diario con ver tantas historias y diferentes facetas de los pacientes, pero se llena de alegría al saber que en algo, ya sea desde lo terapéutico o una palabra de aliento puedo hacer algo por ellos.

I am finishing my 5th year of medical school at the Universidad de Los Andes. During this last year of internship, I have shared with great people, those who only leave you good things. In addition to the academic teachings, the personal ones have been enormous. My heart breaks every day to see so many stories and different facets of patients, but is filled with joy to know that in something, either from the therapeutic or a word of encouragement I can do something for them.

Vengo de una familia grande, mi abuelita tuvo 13 hijos. Era la jefa de la familia, una mujer admirable, con la que crecí y compartí todas mis tortas de cumpleaños (nacimos en la misma fecha), falleció a sus 96 años este 2021, la extraño mucho. Pero dejo su legado, muchos tios y muchos primos, que a pesar de las distancias que nos separan, el amor sigue siendo el mismo.

I come from a big family, my grandmother had 13 children. She was the head of the family, an admirable woman, with whom I grew up and shared all my birthday cakes (we were born on the same date), she passed away at 96 years old this 2021, I miss her very much. But she left her legacy, many uncles and many cousins, that despite the distances that separate us, the love remains the same.
