My name is David Annobil I'm a 37 year old football (soccer) coach from London, England.

I'm a fully qualified FA licenced football coach, with experience playing pro & semi- pro football I've also worked in several primary schools running after school and lunch time clubs as well as in sports centres, I'm also a scout for Charlton Athletic football club and have made some wonderful contacts in the football world.

During my playing days I played for a number of football teams including: Chelsea, Leyton Orient & Stevenage Borough, I spent a lot of my time as a youngster playing football my own trying to perfect my game, hours were spent kicking balls against walls, learning the different foot parts and how they can be used, practicing new skills and becoming a real student of the game that I love.

Technically I was very good, but mentally I wasn’t the most confident as I was often told by football coaches that I was “holding on to the ball for too long” to “get rid of it” and to “hit the channels” at every opportunity. “What’s wrong with the way I play" I often thought as I modelled my game on the like of Dennis Bergkanp, Diego Maradona & Fernando Redondo.

Just over one year ago I decided to start my very own football academy called Kekoa Coaching for children aged between 4-13 years of age.

Kekoa It's Hawaiian for Strong fearless one, which embodies our football philosophy the name was the very last thing I came up with as I needed to find one that could represent my footballing beliefs.

My philosophy is to inspire confidence so that when the children play the can enjoy it as much as possible and more importantly fulfil their potential no matter their ability, the philosophy is very important to me as when I played I wasn't the most confident which also impacted me in school and socially at the time.

I will be uploading content to steemit about our football coaching sessions and events that happen and I am also happy to answer any question that you may have regarding anything football (soccer) related.
