Happiness is always individual and dependent on dozens of personal factors. But those who don't value themselves and take their needs seriously can't be happy. So, if you choose to realise yourself, it's all about answering the vital question of how? Self-realisation is not an easy task. It requires sustained motivation as well as the discipline of working on oneself, and sometimes wearing a thick coat. Sooner rather than later you will have to deal with criticism and resistance. How you can achieve self-realisation despite adversity and resistance I have summarised in the following recommendations,

Recognise What You Really Want!

Before you can even think about the realisation, you must first find out what exactly you really want. Everyone has different potentials, goals and desires. Therefore, be honest with yourself and, above all, listen to yourself. Don't let expectations and external pressure influence you. Do what you want. Expect to run into criticism sooner rather than later

Someone will tell you that your goals are not achievable or that you've made a mistake. Don't quite ignore this criticism, but ask yourself if there is a piece of truth to it. If you've actually made a mistake, it's time for a correction. Because that too is part of self-realisation, taking responsibility for one's own actions. Only then do you really act self-determined. Don't give up prematurely. Even if there are setbacks, you shouldn't give up immediately. As the saying goes, Rome wasn't built in one day. Always remember that self-realisation is not a sprint, but a marathon. Throughout life, mistakes and setbacks are part of it. Learn from it and stay true to your path.
