Realme Separates from Oppo

On July 30th, 2018 Realme Separates from Oppo, becomes an independent brand, targets global brand expansion. Sky Li, the former Global VP of OPPO, has resigned from OPPO and starts to lead Realme separate brand within the BBK Electronics. This is not first time. In December 16th, 2013 Oppo vice-president Pete Lau and Carl Pei did a similar move and Launch OnePlus. OnePlus currently serves 34 countries and regions around the world as of July 2018 - wikipedia

Sky Li said in Facebook Post and Twitter "I am proud to declare that the new brand will have more to offer to young people around the world with better products". “Power meets Style”, and a joyful life featuring "technology" and “beauty".

Li also thanked Oppo CEO Tony Chen guiding him in last 18 years. "I am grateful for my youthful years at OPPO, as its persistence in delivering products in the perfectionist way benefited me a lot. OPPO also gave me the opportunity to reach out to the larger world, which gave me the strength and courage to start Realme today. I've also learned so much from Tony Chen, a man of vision, vigor and generosity, who led me in the past 18 years. These all are like a valuable backpack on my road ahead." Realme is young company.
