The name Eucalyptus comes from the Greek which means well covered. It actually refers to these flower buds which are covered with a cup like membrane and once they start blooming, they expand and come off like that.

I think that's so cool to know the history of that eucalyptus oil is native to Australia. Originally its medicinal uses were taught by the Aborigines. According to Wikipedia there are over 700 species of eucalyptus. All species have very different and diverse properties so when it comes to eucalyptus oil it's absolutely critical that you know which species you're buying. For example Sports Inside sells three different type of eucalyptus oils. They have Eucalyptus globulus, Eucalyptus citriodora and Eucalyptus radiata. These are different from each other and you can use them for different purpose.

Safety Information

Eucalyptus oil this is not an essential oil that you ingest, so you can diffuse, breathe and apply topically this essential oil but you cannot ingest this essential oil so never ever ingest or put it in your mouth and swallow it by itself or diluted or even in a blend with other essential oils.

Eucalyptus Radiata Uses & Benefits

This is my personal favorite of all the Eucalyptuses. Eucalyptus radiata a gentler form of eucalyptus but it still has all the powerful benefits of eucalyptus oil. It is safer for younger and more sensitive people.
Traditionally regarded as a general cure-all that you really used it for everything. It's useful in lots of skin problems and useful for any kind of wound so you can use it for blisters, burns, scratches and basically any kind of wounds for to help repair it.

Eucalyptus Radiata has an amazing affinity for your respiratory system so eucalyptus radiata is the oil of choice for any respiratory issue. It's one of the best essential oils for respiratory infections and it helps to open up the entire respiratory system from the sinuses to the lower lungs.
it just works on the entire respiratory system and helps to get phlegm up and out. In fact when you breathe in eucalyptus essential oil it opens up things in the body. It’s one of the very best ways to use eucalyptus radiata oil in a personal diffuser.

Eucalyptus radiata oil is best antiseptic oils and it may help the body to reduce occasional fevers also it's a great oil to support and boost your immune system. so it's just a great oil for your immune system.

Eucalyptus Globulus Benefits & Uses

Eucalyptus globulus has many same uses as the eucalyptus radiata that I just described to you. It's a stronger version of eucalyptus oil. Actually, it's much stronger than the eucalyptus radiata but still you can use these two fairly interchangeably but just know eucalyptus globulus is very strong so it's not for use on kids under the age of 10.

Eucalyptus Citriodora Benefits and uses

Eucalyptus Citriodora which is one of my favorite eucalyptus oils. it smells like eucalyptus oil and lemon oil together it's not a mix of those two but it just smells very lemony.It may assist the body and bringing down occasional inflammation because of its lemony fresh scent.

Great For Cleaning

It's great for cleaning cleaning your house, cleaning your car anything like that and it clears negative energy. It's also a fantastic insect repellent.
