Adam's mum Blog #33

Hi everyone

A lot of time has passed since I wrote to you. I missed this writing and I missed Steemit. As you know, I was on vacation. This was Adam's first holiday 😍. We drove to the lake. We went for a week. During this time I rested very much. I will tell you that a holiday with parents is a great thing. My parents see Adam once a week or two. So for them it was a great time with their grandson. They were very helpful. For them it was a pleasure to take care of Adam, and I and my husband had time for themselves. Adam for the whole trip was good (maybe except for 2 days, which was grumpy, but that's because he's getting more cloves). The trip - 3 hours in the car, passed very well. He slept almost all the time. We only took 1 feeding break.

Wonderful week

I will tell you how it looked. Holidays with a 6-month-old. Morning wake up about 6am. I fed Adam. About 7am my father and Adam went for a walk to the forest. (we lived in houses in the forest, and next to it was a lake). Adam often fell asleep. Thanks to this I could sleep longer (sometimes up to 9am) - I don't remember when I sleep so long. ![laguna.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSoZFmCTKnWCtyrrvcv6vpkiKWqRT7nhLkYY9DYgEhsvi/laguna.jpg) Then we ate breakfast. Around 11am he was napping again 😇. During this time, we rested. When he woke up, I fed him and usually my mother played with him. ![WhatsApp Image 2018-07-19 at 09.36.29.jpeg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWcnw1yhJRLHB5SXPyZ2NGcjvP6DAEreB57YVTEmxfTtg/WhatsApp%20Image%202018-07-19%20at%2009.36.29.jpeg) I and my husband had time for various activities - we went swimming in the lake (the water was cold, but it was nice to swim), we couldoe or we walked in the woods. We went back to dinner and then we spent time together. We played cards, we talked, we played with Adam. I really enjoyed this holiday. I will tell you what adventures we had

One afternoon, I went kayaking with my husband. It was the day before our departure and we wanted to swim on the lake. We rented a canoe and we set off. As soon as we left, the sky turned black and began to thunder. It was a moment. Suddenly the wind broke and it was hard to paddle. I will tell you that when I saw the lightning, I got a little scared. We turned back to shore (in total, we were swimming about 20 minutes). We were lucky, because as soon as we went ashore the first drops of rain appeared. We got wet while we go to the house (the road from the lake to the house is about 3 minutes). After an hour as the storm passed, we went to lake to swim (Adam slept at the time). I'm so happy that we managed to get back before the storm - it could have been dangerous. Mc'Donalds On the way back home after 2 hours we took a break - I had to feed Adam, and we wanted to eat something. We stayed at Mc'Donalds. And you will not believe what have happend. I fed Adam in the car and changed his diaper. I went inside with him, where my parents waited for us. We placed the order together. We waited for food for one hour 😮😮! Can You imagine it. I don't know what was the reasone for this, but the queue in front of us was about 10 people. It was neither fast nor food 😅. If we hadn't decided to eat, we would be at home an hour faster. So thats all for today.
