OMG another big hack on the Japanese exchange. First Mt Gox and second this one. Exchanges are not the most secure place to store your crypto currencies - so peoples are requested to either store them

i agree - this could also be the case. but apparently almost all cloud mining services & exchanges have put their bitcoin wallets on hold until the fork so genesis would also have done the same whether
