RE: Reading goals for 2026. and 10 books from my collection I would love to read this year
I've read second and third and loved both, especially the Master and Margarita. Notes from the Underground is split into two halves, first is philosophical and second is a story - I liked that one more.

Oh yes, I loved the work of David Hawkins, it changed my life 6-7 years ago. Read two of his books, "Power vs Force" which is an excellent explanation of how the scale of consciousness works,

I read these in my native language (Serbian) but of course, Remarque is a world renown author and there are English translations of his work (he was a German author). The night in Lisbon is a nice place

Absolutely recommend it! I have yet to meet a person that didn't love it. :) It went quietly when it first came out, but then recently when it was republished in Europe it became a hit. On the first glance

Oh yeah, he wasn't open about it but the war injured him literally and, even more, psychologically. I don't think he ever recovered. He was part of the lost generation that struggle so much in the 1920s.

Yes, his short stories are brilliant and Dead Souls was supposed to be his masterpiece but it remained unfinished unfortunately. Still worth reading. Best of luck to you.
