Assuming the benchmarks encourage BP's to improve their hardware and optimizations, it will lead to better chain performance. This should in turn make EOS more attractive and raise the price of EOS.

Because EOS is single threaded, you generally want to go with the fastest clock CPU you can get and not worry about number of cores.
