Decided to go and check. They use the browser's "window.crypto.getRandomValues" to generate the random number. Which supposedly uses the system random number generator.

Yes. You can recover a single missing word rather quickly. Though after that, I don't think THIS particular method is effective. The main issue is that I didn't want to sync a full monero node. So instead
