This is both good and bad. It helps the possibility of crypto to get adoption, but can also limit freedom by freezing coins (nobody will accept them). This is where (upcoming) privacy features on Bitcoin

It is. The difference I see here is that the community can censor unwanted content instead of Google choosing what to censor on Youtube.

Have you removed this feature or is it still available? Can't find it in the app.

Make Steemit.com and Dtube web page available via IPFS then they can't shut them down, because the web pages will be saved on many different IPFS nodes.
