Curiously, about a year ago I presented my new PC here, a dream come true, a beast designed by @rishahp and builded by me to run anything in decent graphics, an investment of time and money that you will have been able to notice in my content from a year ago, and which in part I could build thanks to this great community, and if you have seen me less here it is precisely because time doesn't give me as much as before, things change over time, and it's difficult for those who stay stagnant. Now, the title, basically that, my graphics card died and I am making do with my integrated graphics for the moment, it's something that doesn't matter to me in terms of games because, I play in minimums or simply wait to have the money for another GPU, there is always a lot of where to create content and that is what I will continue to do. For those who are curious, a few days ago I turned on my PC like any other day, with the intention of getting to my things, and I see that the third red warning light of my motherboard remains lit, the one that says "VGA", corresponding to the graphics output, there was a problem, I did not give it much importance, I turned it off, turned it on again and the pc booted as always, I used it for a while, and it stopped giving video, I restarted it, booted again, and again it stopped showing video, so successively, not only is the lack of video, but each time it happens the pc freezes and I have to turn it off forcefully, I had no other choice. I already checked and tried everything, thermal paste, dust, temperatures, adapters, nothing was out of the ordinary, but the graphics continued to die within a minute of showing video, and for the moment it's not that it is a story with a happy ending, in fact, I am in a predicament.

People who know me from the Hive Gaming Discord server may know that a couple of weeks ago I started a new stage in my life, I am attending a 3D Modeling course in order to learn more about such an interesting world, a subject that also requires a good machine to be able to work competently. I've been great with the course, even though I've only learned and done a little because we're just getting started, it's just a matter of acquiring more and more knowledge to do crazy things like what you see on the internet in renders or animations of that style, all of which require a good machine, you'll understand that the fact my GTX 1070 has died is... quite inconvenient.

I have exhausted my options and, unfortunately, I have no other alternative than to continue working and creating content as I have always done to acquire a new graphics card. I have no savings because everything went to my course, which requires specifications from me that I no longer have, at least for the moment. I consider that Hive is not a charity, it is not a place to come and ask for money to be thrown in your face, but it is a reward for our content. In view of this situation, I would like to make it clear that I am in a somewhat complicated situation and any help will be greatly appreciated. I have never really had things clear, I have always been in doubt about what to do with my life, what to study, what is my purpose and all that existentialist shit that harasses some more than others, but when I saw the 3D Modeling course it seemed to me a unique opportunity, something very rare to see in this country, and that perhaps I could not aspire to do at another time, so believe me that if I am here in front of you talking about something other than Monster Hunter, Hollow Knight or Celeste, it is because the situation really warrants it.

Curiosamente, hace aproximadamente un año les presenté acá mi nuevo PC, un sueño hecho realidad, una bestia diseñada por @rishahp y armada por mi para correr cualquier cosa en gráficos decentes, una inversión de tiempo y dinero que habrán podido notar en mi contenido de un año para acá, y la cual en parte pude armar gracias a esta gran comunidad, y si me han visto menos por aquí es precisamente porque el tiempo no me da tanto como antes, las cosas cambian con el tiempo, y difícil lo tiene quien se quede estancado. Ahora, el título, básicamente eso, mi tarjeta gráfica murió y estoy apañando con mis gráficos integrados de momento, es algo que no me importa en cuanto a los juegos pues, juego en mínimos o simplemente espero a tener el dinero para otra, siempre hay mucho de dónde crear contenido y es lo que seguiré haciendo. Para quienes tengan curiosidad, hace algunos días encendí mi PC como cualquier otro día, con la disposición de ponerme en mis cosas, y veo que se mantiene iluminada la tercera luz roja de advertencia de mi motherboard, la que pone “VGA”, correspondiente a la salida de gráficos, había un problema, no le di mucha importancia, apagué, volví a encender y la pc siguió con lo suyo como siempre, la usé un rato, y dejó de dar video, la reinicié, volvió a tomar, y de nuevo dejaba de dar video, así sucesivamente, no solo es la falta de video, sino que cada vez que pasa se bloquea la pc y debo apagarla forzosamente, no tenía mucho remedio. Hice todas mis revisiones, pasta térmica, exceso de polvo, temperaturas, adaptadores, nada estaba fuera de lo normal, pero la gráfica seguía muriendo al minuto de dar video, y de momento no es que se trate de una historia con final feliz, de hecho, estoy en un predicamento.

Quienes me conocen del Discord de Hive Gaming quizá sepan que hace un par de semanas emprendí una nueva etapa en mi vida, estoy asistiendo a un curso de Modelado 3D con tal de aprender más acerca de tan interesante mundo, una materia que además, requiere una buena máquina para poder trabajar de forma competente. Me ha ido espectacular con el curso, a pesar de que es poco lo que he aprendido y hecho pues, apenas vamos empezando, solo es cuestión de adquirir más y más conocimientos para hacer locuras como las que ven por internet en renders o animaciones de ese estilo, todo, requiriendo una buena máquina, entenderán que el que se haya muerto mi GTX 1070 es… bastante inoportuno.

He agotado mis opciones y lamentablemente no me queda otra alternativa que seguir trabajando y creando contenido como he hecho siempre para adquirir una nueva gráfica, no tengo algún tipo de ahorro pues, todo se fue a mi curso, el cual exige de mí unas especificaciones que ya no tengo, al menos de momento. Considero que Hive no es una caridad, no es un lugar donde venir y pedir que te tiren el dinero a la cara, sino que es una recompensa por nuestro contenido, a pesar de eso y en vista de la situación, me gustaría dejar claro que estoy en una situación algo complicada y cualquier ayuda será enormemente agradecida. Nunca he tenido muy claras las cosas, siempre he estado en la duda de qué hacer con mi vida, qué estudiar, cuál, es mi propósito y toda esa mierda existencialista que nos acosa a unos más que a otros, pero cuando vi el curso de Modelado 3D me pareció una oportunidad única, algo muy raro de ver en este país, y que quizá no podría aspirar a hacer en otro momento, así que créanme que si estoy acá frente a ustedes hablando de algo que no sea Monster Hunter, Hollow Knight o Celeste, es porque realmente la situación lo amerita.
