Imagine this simple-looking complication below and you may understand how "tough" i live.

Well, i can't say i have a life yet.

Now imagine: my dad's flight ticket's been bought and my sister's. I was able to find the perfect big house to rent, one that will suit my dad and the plan is to leave my current house to the new house, to begin living with my dad upon his arrival.

I haven't seen him for more than 5 years

My sister will only accompany him here as he is ill with dementia and glaucoma. Now, you would think "so?", "what is the complication?"

Hahaha, this simple thing involves alot of hard things

Few hours away from departure and my dad simply isn't agreeing to be moved an inch. I am not physically present with him but i am hearing it.

First my dad is just being told that he is about to travel, hours before flight-time. Well, he is just being told now because my dad will not be made to go anywhere, not even to the next street, for no reason.

He has a huge character but apart from that, he has fears, apprehension and he forgets, "he forgets us" even and more recently, the only one who he would listen to, very readily, is my mama.

My mama however, has lost life and my dad has been looking for her ever since. He was eventually told of my mum's passing but he forgets at times, hence, when he remembers, he gets angry with us because he feels we let her lose life.

Then, he gets apprehensive about us doing the same to him.

It's like this: "he didn't even know how my mum arrived the Philippines". One minute, she was back home with him (after she was sent home for a short period with words that "she had no cancer") and the very next minute, she was in Philippines and no longer anywhere to be found.

And anytime i get to talk to him on the phone, he only "so wants to speak to her" and i deal with so much terribleness, when i have to end the call on him etc

My mum's arrival here was all rushed and impromtu. More like, "lemme see my son and family before i pass" and with her last energy, within a few days, her ticket was bought and she was here, only for me to start with her, "her last 16-days", journeying from hospital to hospital, just hours after she arrived here.

Basically, i am here right now, doing large measure of trauma moments because i fear that afterall, my dad may not agree to be moved an inch, let alone go into two airplanes to arrive here.

I still await news.

Even though i know it will be so tough for me; i want my dad to be next to me, let me do all the sacrifice of watching him go through suffering but loving him intensely and holding him close.

So i do need prayers: "prayers that hours from now, he agrees to travel here and that my young sister can pull through the journey with him".

I am his replica.

Yes, i will listen to him talk 24/7, of his unmet dreams etc and it can crush me but i will use all my energy to draw testimonial "drive" from it.

In the meantime, there is so much work to be done and this work won't stop.

Like my dad, "i carry the dreams of many nations".

I needed to shed just a bit of my load.

Thus, by tomorrow, i should be putting the new steemgigs github code on utopian allover again as an open-source project, ready to be built by everyone.

In truth, that has been my plan since day one, that we become testimonies together, to the words "everyone has something to offer" but i needed to let out at least a working alpha.

For the building of https://steemgigs.org, i wanted to stick to the developers from "nations" that world calls; "developing" because i don't believe in developing or developed, for i believe in "everyone".

So, i stubbornly stuck to developers hailing from these nations. The whole process has been slow thus, even ready heartbreaking at times but i tell you, "i wanted this harder more testimonial route", with hopes that we can bring these striving developers as well to the limelight.

Infact, the last existing steemgigs interface was started all over and the current one is like the 6th attempt or UI-build.

Right now, it is time to go, so, we are sticking to this one and together, we will built it to completion, through your contributions and with support from @utopian-io.

My tech team is gradually filling up and some of the developers involved became steemians, to join in studying the steem code, inorder to help.

There is also alot of developers on the route to becoming steemians from this whole movement, as they have heard of steemgigs and its interest in "developers" from any nation.

The lead developer for the current https://steemgigs.org is @jalasem. He has been brother since day one and believes in the vision for "SteemGigs" with utmost love and passion. He is very proud of @steemgigs and what it represents and he has kept showing it and its true beauty, at various events for coders in his state in Kwara, where he leads a group of passionate youths who look to adjust the world, using codes.

Other tech members of the group are here in the Philippines! More details with be established and presented, over the course of time.

For now, steemgigs is testable and has many features working. It is even use-able!

The current steemgigs frontend code will be on utopian in a day or two and will be accepting contributions then.

I will do loads of task requests as @steemgigs is mostly starting out empty, to be built by each of us.

SteemGIGs will look to promote itself as built by "everyone" as we will proudly showcase contributions, contributors etc on the platform.

As at the moment, you can already add your freelancer (steemgigger) additional profiles onto steemgigs if you are a freelancer or a "steemgigger" in this case.

Steemgigs has an internal database to allow profile additions and enhance search and categorization.

Note that steemgigs is not all ready. Basic functions however, are already useable, with continuous updates & edits on the go!

Beyond just a conventional freelancing marketplace, it has an untalented paradigm which will be fully unfolded overtime. (It also has the fun untalented specialized editor that allows you to post to steemit, in the making)

Then, it has a "steem & steemit" paradigm.

Clear details will be made on a follow-up post that will be published from utopian to present @steemgigs as a project on utopian.

There is need for me to do this announcement post at this point . Not only has it been so delayed, mostly due to "pacing", community-building and more recently unforeseen occurrence but this announcement lifts some load off of my shoulders and perhaps, bring about a much need excitement to the steemit community and thousands of steemgigs lovers.

I am grateful for every patience. I am grateful for each love that has been selflessly shown towards "steemgigs".

The "steemgigs" witness has stood to represent this movement all along and you have supported it heartfeltly. I am so grateful!

The full public rpc node 256 gb on "wss://steemd.steemgigs.org" has stood to inspire developers from nations that the world has chosen "developing"

So, i value and cherish all the support.

This post was hurried but weighty as it contains a piece of me. Thank you for bearing with me and my flaws and sifting even my "not-so-good" to find "good" therein.

Note: https:/steemgigs.org UI and functionality is not at its optimum as it will be built be us each and based on feedback. Due to too many delays and other reasons as seen above. It is time to go. We will also upgrade servers over the course of the coming weeks to host the masses. Then, when steemgigs is fully ready with a strong team, we will propagate steem also as a home online where "everyone has something to offer".
