Hello Friends, how are you? I hope your days are pleasant and happy always. On this occasion allow me to share some more photos with all of you here. This photo I took at the location of a community-owned salted fish processing business, precisely located in Pusong Lama Village, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Before I share the photo first I want to tell a little experience of my trip to this location. A few days ago, on May 17, 2024, Friday morning I traveled from the office where I work to the location of the salted fish processing business using a two-wheeled vehicle with my friend. The distance is not too far, maybe about 3 Km from my office. Why did I choose this location, because I have a task from the office to supervise the salted fish processing business in Lhokseumawe City to run well. I saw several employees who were doing their activities and some were relaxing while resting after finishing their work. My friend and I, immediately approached them to say hello while relaxing and also chatting. Our conversation was about the development of their business, I also asked them about their business constraints. They told me that the obstacles they have faced so far are only two. First, when the rainy season comes salted fish drying is constrained due to lack of sunlight so it takes a few even up to a week of processed salted fish to dry. Generally, if the sun is good or the weather is hot salted fish drying only takes one to two days after that it can be sold immediately. The second obstacle is the lack of raw materials in the form of fish, the lack of raw materials because the results of fishing carried out by fishermen are reduced due to bad or stormy weather conditions at sea. After chatting with them, my friend and I went around the entire area of the salted fish processing drying place. This place is in the coastal area, not far from the coastline. When I visited this place, the weather was very good, resulting in a clear blue sky. I also saw and approached some employees who were turning salted fish, how much they enjoyed this work. The way they do fish drying is still very traditional, the fish is first soaked using salted water for about half a day, then taruk on a container called ancak and then dried in the sun. The experience I got when visiting the location of the salted fish processing site was very valuable to me with their friendliness and enthusiasm in doing their work under the scorching sun. For friends if you visit this place I suggest you go in the morning until the afternoon so you can see the activities of employees and also beautiful natural scenery.
