I would imagine its because one of their new partners, AliBaba, has a subsidiary called Ant Financial Services Group with a very similar logo to Antshares former logo. So it could be to avoid any confusions

I find it amazing how Bancor has dropped from over $24 to less that $3 since this article was posted. Similar to Bancor, I also do not believe in IOTA. I feel they are half assed competitors of Ethereum.
