In my case, I understand by *"Ideal Partner "* the person who can be more compatible with me, knowing how to understand and manage the virtues and defects of each other. With this, we must specify that there is no concept of a perfect person who can adapt to all types of people, but a person who can develop fluently and effectively with one or more types of people. Starting from these premises, let's start describing which are the 3 qualities that I consider most important that my ideal partner would have.

En mi caso, entiendo por *"Pareja Ideal"* a la persona que pueda resultar mas compatible con mi persona, sabiendo entender y manejar las virtudes y defectos del uno al otro. Con esto, debemos de especificar que no existe el concepto de una persona perfecta que pueda adaptarse a todo tipo de persona, sino una persona que pueda desarrollarse con fluidez y efectividad con uno o varios tipos de personas. Partiendo de estas premisas, vamos a iniciar a describir cuales son las 3 cualidades que considero más importantes que tendría mi pareja ideal.

#### **Good listener** I consider this to be one of the most important characteristics not only for me, but for anyone looking to maintain a healthy relationship with their partner. In my case, I consider myself a person who talks up to my elbows hahahahahahaha, but when it comes to having a conversation and listening to my partner I consider that I can be a good listener. For this case, a good listener corresponds to a person who knows how to listen and maintain an active conversation, being able to intervene when he/she does not understand something specific and does not take hasty actions without finishing listening to a complete argument. A good listener does not rush to interrupt his partner, but rather tries to understand every word and intention of the person conversing in order to offer opinions or maintain a stable conversation with him. In this way, he or she is able to provide solid opinions that apply to the topic of conversation.

#### **Buen oyente** Esta considero que es una de las características más importantes no solo para mí, sino para cualquier persona que busque mantener una relación sana con su pareja. En mi caso, me considero una persona que habla hasta por los codos hahahahahaha, pero a la hora de sostener una conversación y escuchar a mi pareja considero que puedo ser un buen oyente. Para este caso, un buen oyente corresponde a una persona que sepa escuchar y mantener una conversación de manera activa, pudiendo intervenir cuando no entienda de algo en especifico y que no tome acciones precipitadas sin terminar de escuchar un argumento completo. Una persona buen oyente no se precipita en interrumpir a su compañero, más bien intenta comprender cada palabra e intención de la persona que conversa con el objetivo de ofrecer opiniones o mantener una conversación estable con la misma. De esta forma, es capaz de poder brindar opiniones sólidas y que apliquen para el tema en conversación.

#### **Sincere and Congruent** No, we are not talking about 2 characteristics in 1, we are making a combination of both in order to explain what we want to detail. For this case, a person must be able to speak clearly and that their comments are congruent with their actions. Speaking clearly and sincerely helps to be able to work with the problems that may arise within a couple's relationship because there is the ability to externalize any type of problem that may arise. We need people who always speak clearly about everything that happens, people who can communicate their ideals, their interests with respect to us and people who can support all this with their actions. With this, we can avoid situations that may arise from omitted comments, misinterpreted words and give way to the clarity and transparency of a stable couple relationship.

#### **Sincera y Congruente** No, no estamos hablando de 2 caracterísitcas en 1, estamos realizando una combinación de ambas para poder explicar lo que queremos detallar. Para este caso, una persona debe poder hablar de forma clara y que sus comentarios sean congruentes con sus acciones. Hablar claro y de forma sincera ayuda a poder trabajar con los problemas que puedan surgir dentro de una relación de pareja pues existe la capacidad de externar cualquier tipo de problema que pueda surgir. Necesitamos personas que siempre nos hablen de forma clara todo lo que pasa, personas que puedan comunicarnos sus ideales, sus intereses con respecto a nosotros y personas que puedan respaldar todo esto con sus acciones. Con esto, podemos evitar situaciones que puedan surgir a partir de comentarios omitidos, palabras malinterpretadas y dar paso a la claridad y transparencia de una relación de pareja estable.

And last but not least... #### **Proactive problem solving**. This is one of the pillars of any relationship that seeks to establish clarity and healing. My ideal partner should know how to handle discussions, problems and issues that may arise in our daily lives, because in all relationships fights may arise. Knowing how to handle emotional situations where anger and sadness abound, it is good that our partner can help us with these issues in a proactive way, having options to solve the problems. A situation that can exemplify this can be a case of a fight over something done by your spouse, in a normal situation of a non-proactive person, the person gets irritated until many times reaching the situation of yelling at your partner, however, the behavior that I consider correct is to try to understand the emotions of the other and propose solutions to the problem. In this way, we will be working for a healthier relationship at any time or circumstance.

Y por último pero no menos importante.. #### **Proactiva para la resolución de problemas** Este es uno de los pilares de toda relación que busque establecerse en la claridad y sanidad. Mi pareja ideal debe saber manejar las discusiones, problemas y tematicas que puedan surgir dentro de nuestra vida cotidiana, pues en todas las relaciones pueden llegar a surgir peleas. Saber manejarse en situaciones emocionales en las que abunden la ira y la tristeza es bueno que nuestra pareja pueda ayudarnos con estos temas de forma proactiva, disponiendo de opciones para solucionar los problemas. Una situacion que puede ejemplificar esto puede ser un caso de una pelea por algo realizado por su conyugue, en una situación normal de una persona no proactiva, la persona se irrita hasta de muchas veces llegar a la situación de gritar a su pareja, sin embargo, el comportamiento que considero correcto es intentar comprender las emociones del otro y proponer soluciones para el problema. De esta forma, estaremos trabajando para una relación más sana en cualquier momento o circunstancia.
