Hi @makerhacks. It seems to be a correct base to start with. How stiff is the cantilever ? Have you done any firmware upgrade ? Best, Julien

I was really upset when having a look to @therealwolf post. But, I would say it is still the same bad way of handling things at SteemIt, over promising and not delivering. I hope the software development

Thank you ! I had a quick look yesterday on the Kindle edition. Nice job ! Few comments: For heatbed temperatures, it will be nice to have a table instead of a list. I like the sections where you describe

RE: ChopChop3D Slicer BETA_05 is out !
More things will come. It is a really long road, and it takes a huge amount of both time and efforts to make it works.

RE: Part Cooling in 3D Printing
I know it seems a lot but with 15 seconds it works for nearly any geometry: including small miniatures and also high throughput printing with 0.8mm nozzle.

RE: Part Cooling in 3D Printing
Print speed is very important. It makes a big difference especially for the outer perimeter to let it cool down more for steep overhangs. The time per slice can help a lot on the speed corner: 15 seconds

Thanks Paula for the analysis, interesting. What is difficult is that you cannot really link it to the last year because it was crazy. May be I am fully wrong but I feel that this July and August are low

RE: Is 3d printing a viable alternative to injection molding?
Yes, they are very interesting resins. I think we will see more MIM style solutions coming on the FDM market, I hope to see an affordable one.

3D printer made by people repairing turbines and similar pieces This can enable different materials on thin layers, this is really interesting.

For small production batch (<1000 parts) it is interesting. I hope affordable material strong and heat resistant enough will come so that you can print the injection mold and run small batch at home.

Not bad. Probably you can reduce a bit the amount of supports with those very thin layers. May be try to dry the filament, that may explain the need for higher temperature. What are your settings in the

Insets are perimeters: if you have the extruder well calibrated, may be you can put 4 to 5. For the 4 to 5 top/bottom layers, may be it is not enough with this small layer height, you can go safely to
