I think you are missing the whole point with the scarcity bit. If it were actually scarce you might run into problems. But it order for people to feel it will have value in the future it needs to be scarce.

Perhaps, but I see Ripple doing something similar to what Amazon did. It's starting with something very specific like selling books. Once they were very efficient at that, they started selling other things.

Question is what value is XRP going to give it's customers? Ridiculous is just an adjective we use to describe things that are hard to understand. Bitcoin over a dollar was ridiculous and so was XRP. Look

As of now, all fiat currencies are debt-based. So I guess one could say money is debt. I agree banks create the debt through loans but they are only functioning in a system designed for that. I don't see
