Welcome to the Peoples Deck Initiative...

Ultimate Mission: To provide a complete deck of cards at maximum level that the community can borrow upon, at no cost, to compete in tournaments.

Goal 1: Provide free access to high level cards for people who are unable to purchase them on their own or rent them off of the market.

Goal 2: Pool community resources to buy cards off of the market and drive up card values.

Goal 3: Decrease the barrier of entry into steem monsters to drive adoption.

Goal 4: Create a tight knit community (team) that will help each other with gameplay and strategy.

How we will achieve these goals.

1. Start With A Good Account.

I have created an account called @smonsters...

As of right now it has about a $20 worth of cards and has purchased a $10 starter pack... I created this account some time ago just because the name was available, and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it, but knew that it would come in handy.

I am donating these cards to the Initiative.

2. Funding Through the Affiliate Program

In order for someone to participate in the Initiative they will have to sign up under @smonsters as an affiliate.

For those of you already playing, this means that you will probably have to create a new account because it only counts an affiliate if it is your first time signing in. But truly this initiative is designed to attract and onboard new users.

All affiliate bonuses that the @smonsters account makes from affiliates will be used for buying and leveling cards.

3. Funding Through Fundition.

Steem Monsters has (IMO) the best community on Steem.

I started this Fundition Project knowing that it will get plenty of support.

I believe that there will be plenty of people willing to donate cards money and upvotes to an initiative such as this.

4. Prize money.

Participants in the initiative will be either highly encouraged or required to give a percentage of whatever they earn back to the community to buy cards.

I am not sure at this time what % this will be but I can promise that it will never be over 50%

All of those funds will also be used to buy and level cards off of the market.

5. Get That Reward Pool Money.

I can't promise that rewards from all posts made my @smonsters will be used to buy cards, but there will definately be plenty of opportunities to rape the reward pool for some Steem Monster Cards.

Posts to collect upvotes for the Initiative will probably be a common occurrence.

Calling Collaborators

There are many parts of this project that I do not have concise answers for yet. I am calling on the community for support in this.

There are known and unknown challenges in this project, such as

1. How will Delegations be chosen and scheduled.

I do know is that you will have to be on the affiliate list of @smonsters to be eligible to get delegation.

I do know that Delegations have to be free.

I do not know how to manage these two things... it will probably highly depend on the tools that become available for delegation markets.

I will not be able to keep up with multiple delegations so these things need to be automated somehow and I am not a programer.

2. How to maintain integrity

With me being the owner of the account this project is highly centralized around me, I would like to com up with a solution for that, or at least some way to maintain integrity if my computer is hacked or something.

3. Possibility of donating card delegation to the initiative instead of actual cards.

I Know from talking to @aggroed that it is possible to give delegation permissions to someone, so there is a chance that people may want to donate permissions of high level cards that they aren't using just to help the community

I think that after reading this you will probably have a good understanding of my Idea for this initiative.

This is only the first post so I am really hoping for a lot of critical feedback.
