RE: Returning after 8 years?!?!?!?!
Tbh mostly waiting for people to stop being retarded lol. I can't believe BTC is still over 10K, there are still thousands of blockchains/tokens and still nobody is talking about basic income with this

RE: The Reality of Steem Delegation
Nope it's irrelevant. It's only about the relative amount of money assigned by self-votes. It doesn't matter if you assigned 6 cents out of 10 cents or 6 million out of 10 million, it's the same percentage.

RE: The Reality of Steem Delegation
@financialcritic You're twisting the numbers. You self-voted 60% of all the money you gave out. It's not about annual return. Clarification for you and everyone else: It's not really abuse, it's just not

RE: Extensive stats comparison pre-HF19 and post-HF19
I'm currently doing research on curation rewards and already also made a different curation algorithm that could solve some of the problems. I'll probably publish an article about it soon (within a week

RE: Extensive stats comparison pre-HF19 and post-HF19
Well, it did grow significantly the month after HF19. We'll have to wait another 3 weeks to see how the next month went. As stated in this article, it's concerning that you can make more money by voting

RE: Self-voting user list since HF19 - PART 3 (potential comment abuse)
There's no point in sharing my queries when it's a completely different database structure. I'm happy to help you with building the right query, but my concern when i looked at SteemSQL was that it had

Thanks for the kind reply :) As for the investment argument, that's irrelevant since it doesn't change anything about how bad self-voting is. It's always bad, no matter how much someone invested, if any

The SQL query depends entirely on how the database is setup. SteemSQL probably doesn't have the proper data to run the query.

I gathered the data with SteemJS and imported it into MySQL myself.

RE: Self-voting user list since HF19 - PART 2 (comments)
Well that's not exactly true. When a person with 1 million SP uses 10% of their voting power in a month and self-votes 90% of the total rewards, that's way worse than someone with 10SP using 100% of the

The amount of content creators on SteemIt is still incredible high. In my opinion it's safe to assume that less that 10% of the population would be content creators. On SteemIt it's over 40%, so that results

Ah you're right, it's maximum potential of the votes you did, not of the full potential indeed. If you used your 20% voting power every day and you still had assigned 60% of all voting power to yourself,

Active means at least 1 post or at least 1 vote during that month. So "active" might not be the best description :)

RE: Extensive stats comparison pre-HF19 and post-HF19
The linear rewards were very needed. It has given people exactly as much power as their STEEM POWER. The increase in max voting power per vote from 0.5% to 2% has caused a lot of problems.

Well you need to be careful just basing it on SBD, some people have a shitload of SP but still aren't selfish at all.
