I am new in Steemit and yeah, I am new here! Hello! I joined after being suggested and encouraged by my club peers. Especially by my 'Club's Director' who is also my lecturer @sireh. There are also other fellow peers and acquatainces who are testing Steemit, tagging them as @ellyn-suraya, @gordon92, @hanbun, @shuazir, @azmanzulkiply and more who I can't find yet (hehe).

"Oooh, something new? And my club is trying it? I should try it too!

What interests me most is this unusual system where people upvote your posts, and in turn, you get bits of dollars for each votes.

"WHAT."
"HOW."
"You just get dollars from votes on your post?"
"This sounds too good to be true."
"This I gotta see."

Though the reason why it really interest me it's not because lots of my peers are trying it or the fact I get the money, but to find out how this really works. From what I know, it does reward people who write articles, journals and posts, and the more they are valued with votes, the more rewards they in return. What I want to know is how does this really contributes to the Steemit company's economy other than reputation.

INTRODUCTION

Whatever you read above is just the gist to how I got here. Oh right! Introductions! Allow me to introduce myself, my artist alias is; '7-Days-Luck', or you can refer me as my steemit username 'ChickenDays'.

" I am an aspiring cartoonist that explores through character and world building concepts. I plan to start my own comic one day! "

I've started drawing ever since I was a little kid, and then only became aware of cartoon styles in Primary School. First, it started with Anime, and then fanart styles like 'Sonic the Hedgehog' and for after is 'Homestuck'. Finally, it leads up to the present where I developed my own original cartoon style that was developed from all my art experiences and curiosities.

Other than dwelling in the passion of cartoon illustrations and comics, I am also a final year animation student in Multimedia University. To summarize my education experience so far, it's been extremely challenging and mind wrecking (LAUGHS). But that's how life always is right? It will push you till you're at wits' end and it's up to you live through it with pride. As hard as it is, it still offers me lots of experience that will benefit me in what's to come.

Besides university work and assignments, I also have side projects:

Participating in my Comination Club's comic collaboration project, creating a comic themed as 'A Student's Life'.
Concept making a possible comic project for the future.
Hosting a comic competition on Deviant art, titled as 'Wizard Palooza OCT' (aka; Original Character Tournament)
