Reincarnation is a belief that after death, the person is reborn into another body to continue living. Instead, Scripture presents life as a single journey followed by judgment. Human beings are created by God, live once on earth, and then face accountability before Him. This shows a clear difference between biblical teaching and the concept of repeated earthly lives.
Hebrews 9:27 said “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
The book of Hebrew explains to us that everybody live once and nothing like second life after death. Likewise, in the story of the rich man and Lazarus, Jesus describes a fixed state after death, where there is no return to earthly life or second chance to live again in another body.
John 5:28–29 also teaches, “All that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
This points to resurrection, not reincarnation. The Bible consistently teaches that after death comes resurrection and eternal destiny, not a cycle of rebirth, calling people to prepare their hearts for God in this present life.
