Under the new COVID-19 world, it may eventually our best and most affordable hope of getting out of Suriname one day. Because of this body of water, there is a rich freshwater boating culture alive in Cambodia. We used to enjoy weekend beach picnics until the business begin to disintegrate. In Cambodia, you can even enjoy lunch or dinner on a moving boat-staurant, I even once had the pleasure of teaching Khmer to two Canadians who would pick me up in a boat for each class and take me back to their dock where would do a one-hour lesson. And if you're a boy with ferry captain dreams, Cambodia will not hold you back from achieving your life's ambition before you turn 18.
