Without opening ports the entire Sia system is worthless.. but ONLY these ports mentioned are for the capturing - sending/receiving of data to my knowledge.

Understood, but realize if you follow the instructions- these ports are specific and there should be no issue if your opening just these and have firewall and other security protocols to monitor the ports.
